In over their heads though they might be, the party proves themselves capable fighters!

Having picked a fight with the Ebon Claw guardsmen inside the Shellhole, Mace endeavors to block the entrance and leave them with no way out while the rest of the party takes care of the guards waiting outside. Though the guard are trained fighters and their numbers are almost evenly matched, the party makes good use of surprise and strategy to quickly gain the upper hand. With help from Towerin, Mahaxara, and Melvin (the goliath a few members of the party befriended who was more than happy to fuck up some cops), the party successfully kill all the Ebon Claw present, leaving none to carry tales back to anyone.

Impressed, Mahaxara assures the party that she is willing to work with them again if they are able to continue supplying helms. Once the trackered helm is safely in their hands, Mahaxara and Towerin head out, leaving the party—and Melvin—to somewhat drunkenly head back to the Autumn for a well-deserved rest…
