Return to the Primordial Ooze!
The Goo Crew destroys a cult.
Just two last stops before setting sail!
Unable to resist one last fight in the Arena, the “Goo Crew,” this time consisting of Blorp, MADS, Luchia, Justinia, and Bren take on the Gith Far Travelers. Though the Far Travelers are much more seasoned fighters than the Wonder Quins were, the Goo Crew’s unique and unusual tactics—namely, Luchia knocking down a column to crush one Gith and the party creating a Blorp slingshot with the remaining column to send Luchia into the air for a ground pound—wins out!
After the fight, the party swings by to pick up Mace and Aradyn before heading to the warehouse where the “good revival” is set to occur. There they find a small gathering of mixed company. Having heard Master Zloosh’s message of freeing the “flesh-bound brethren” from their “fleshy prisons,” some well-meaning plasmoids have brought along their friends in the hopes of giving them the gift of returning to an ooze state. Among these well meaning plasmoids and humans are Glop and Drannen, friends and co-workers who have come to hear more from Master Zloosh and hopefully help Drannen become a plasmoid. Though the party is at first unsuccessful at convincing Glop that Master Zloosh will only kill Drannen, not turn him into a plasmoid, when the heretics are ready to share a demonstration of their capabilities, select Drannen, and pull a knife, the party quickly leaps into action. In seconds, Blorp’s tattoos begin to glow with celestial light, and he punches the shit out of Master Zloosh before Justinia finishes him off with a kinetic crush.
It takes little more for the party to take care of the other two heretics. By this point, everyone else, including Glop, has cleared out of the warehouse, leaving the party alone with Drannen. It doesn’t take much convincing before Drannen agrees to come with them and join the crew of the Autumn after he grabs his things from his apartment. Waiting on the steps they find Glop who is incredibly apologetic. Hearing of Drannen’s plan to join the Autumn, Glop decides to join too, running inside to collect the one important item he owns—a pair of very nicely creased pants.
Back aboard the Autumn, the party settles in for a good night’s sleep before setting sail. Intent on not letting the plasmoid heretic’s teachings take hold, Blorp gives Glop a celestial tattoo. Waking in the late morning, Justinia gathers the party and Melvin together to tell them her secret—she and the crystal that holds MADS consciousness are from the Hidden Sphere, Abscondis—and warns the party not to tell anyone. Unfortunately, Melvin reveals he has already spilled the beans. While the party was out and about the previous day, two dragonborn had come around asking questions, and Melvin had told them that Justinia had mentioned being from Abscondis when she was drunk. Justinia rushes to Tigren to tell her that they have to leave NOW only to spot the poor mind-fucked insectoid fortuneteller running down the dock yelling, “They’re coming!”
As the ship sets sail, the party spots two dragonborns, one emerald and one amethyst colored, telekinetic ally hold the insectoid woman…
